The abstract submission is now closed (Poster abstract submission ended 16 March 2018; the abstract deadline with intent to publish in the "Submarine Mass Movements and Their Consequences" volume, produced by the Geological Society of London (GSL) was already 15 February 2017). Preference for oral presentations will be given to successful GSL authors.

For late abstract, please email to both <dmosher AT ccom.unh.edu> and <mscherwa AT uvic.ca>. Note that poster abstracts could be up to 500 words, and also require a title, authorship with contact information (email and phone number), and a theme from the Symposium Themes list.

Note that the poster size can be up to 4 ft x 4 ft (about 120 cm x 120 cm). Posters will be displayed for the entire conference. A limited number of lagrer boards (8' wide, 4' high; or 2.4 m x 1.2 m) may be available to accommodate display of seismic data or other special needs. These boards may be not available in the main poster viewing area and may not be available for the full symposium. Larger sizes can be requested by email to smmtc2018@gmail.com.

Oral presentations will be 15 minutes including questions. Keynote presentations will be longer.
